Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced in the Assembly that restaurants and establishments in the tri-commissionerate areas of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda will remain open until 1 AM. This assurance comes in response to several complaints, including a statement by AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi regarding police strictness.
Revanth Reddy stated in the Telangana Assembly on Friday that he had held a meeting with the police commissioners of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda on this issue.
“I have discussed these issues with the police commissioners and assure people that they will not face any problems finding places to eat at night,” he said.
“However, liquor stores and establishments serving alcohol will close at their regular times,” clarified Mr. Reddy.
