The Indian School in Sadiq Nagar Evacuated After Receiving Bomb Threat Email


On Wednesday, The Indian School located in Sadiq Nagar, Delhi, was evacuated following a bomb threat email received by the school. The Delhi Police immediately arrived at the school, and the bomb detection and disposal squad is currently conducting a thorough check of the premises to ensure the safety of students and staff.

The threatening email was received at approximately 10:49 am on Wednesday, causing panic and chaos among students, staff, and parents. A sniffer dog has also been deployed to detect any explosives that may be present in the school.


One of the guardians of a student from Indian School shared their concern, stating that the bomb and dog squads have gone inside the school, and they are waiting to hear about the outcome of the situation.

DCP South Chandan Choudhary shared an update on the situation, stating, “At 10:50 am, the school received a bomb threat via e-mail. We evacuated all the students and deployed BDT and BDS teams. We informed the Special Cell & Special Branch. We have done a visual search with SWAT team.”

Such incidents of bomb threats in schools not only create a sense of panic and fear among students and parents but also disrupt the educational process. It is imperative that law enforcement authorities take swift and decisive action to ensure the safety of everyone on the premises.
