Hyderabad Police Book YouTuber for Alleged Derogatory Remarks on Prophet Muhammad


Hyderabad police have registered a case against a local YouTuber, identified as Praveen, for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad during a program.  The incident came to light after a video of the program was uploaded to the "U News" channel and subsequently circulated on social media platforms.  The video prompted several individuals to file complaints with the police, leading to Praveen's detention.  

In response to the video, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) party submitted a formal complaint to Additional Commissioner of Police Vikram Singh, urging strict action against the YouTuber.  Multiple complaints were also lodged at various police stations across the city.

The police have not yet disclosed the specific sections of the law under which the case has been registered.
