PM Narendra Modi to Distribute 71,000 Appointment Letters in Rozgar Mela for Government Jobs


Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute approximately 71,000 appointment letters to recently recruited individuals via video conferencing on Tuesday. As per the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi will also deliver an address to the newly appointed recruits. The Rozgar Mela, taking place at 45 locations nationwide, aims to facilitate employment opportunities across Central Government Departments and State Governments/UTs that support this initiative.

The appointed candidates, hailing from various parts of the country, have been selected for a range of positions including Gramin Dak Sevaks, Inspector of Posts, Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Junior clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Accounts Clerk, Track Maintainer, Assistant Section Officer, Lower Division Clerk, Sub Divisional Officer, Tax Assistants, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspectors, Nursing Officers, Assistant Security Officers, Fireman, Assistant Accounts officer, Assistant Audit officer, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Commandant, Principal, Trained Graduate Teacher, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor, and many others.



The Rozgar Mela reflects the Prime Minister's unwavering commitment to prioritize employment generation. It is anticipated that this initiative will not only bolster further employment opportunities but also provide meaningful avenues for youth empowerment and their active participation in national development.

Additionally, the newly appointed individuals will have the opportunity to enhance their skills through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online orientation course designed for all new appointees in various Government departments.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the first phase of the 'Rozgar Mela' on October 22 last year, marking the initiation of the campaign to provide 10 lakh government jobs.
