KPCC President DK Shivakumar Expresses Willingness to Work Under Mallikarjun Kharge as Chief Minister of Karnataka

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President, DK Shivakumar, stated that he would be happy to work under Congress party President Mallikarjun Kharge, if he is made the chief minister of the state. Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Shivakumar said that Kharge is an asset to the nation and the state, and he is willing to abide by any decision taken by the party.

Shivakumar mentioned that Kharge, who is 20 years senior to him, had made many sacrifices for the party, and he is prepared to make way for him to be the chief minister of the state. He added that Kharge's journey, starting as a block leader and now serving as the national president of the party, is an example of how the Congress party nurtures its members.

Shivakumar expressed that Kharge's appointment as the AICC president had boosted the party's image in the state. The Karnataka Assembly election is scheduled to be held on May 10, and the results will be declared on May 13.
